Anyone seen or heard new Thiel CS3.7

Vivid loudspeakers, very nice.

I like Zaikesman's "wild-card possibility". I get the sense that Jim Thiel isn't presently too keen on digital amps out side the bass region though. The interesting thing with this idea is that there would be little need for the signature sloped baffles.

does mr thiel moonlight as a wilko johnson or G.E.smith impersonator?

Do Wilko and G.E. look alike? Never noticed. I'm glad they don't sound alike though, I'm a Dr. Feelgood fan (doubt that JT listens to either one however ;^)

I saw it at the CES show and it's actually look uglier in real life than on pictures ( trust me on this one: Metal helmet with wierd looking aluminum hub cabs for drivers). A combination of these speakers with Manley Neon Classic electronics is simply a killer to look at, period. I am sure it's going to sound great as everyone at Thiel is pretty excited about it. Once I have a chance to talk to Ken Hawkins, I will keep you posted.
