Help for BDR speaker pucks

I have a set of Black diamond racing Mk4 pucks for decouple my speakers from the floor.
The screw that is in the puck protrudes from the puck, in result to feel unsafe to put my speaker (with its spades) on it. Is this normal?
Please any black diamond racing pucks user help.
(I do not have BDR cones.)

The "screw" is actually a threaded stud that can be removed from the puck. Use an allen key to remove the stud.

If I remove the screw the spike from speakers will reach the wooden floor unfortunately.

Well I bought shorter threaded stud, and I guess I will solve it.
