Montan "WAS" speakers . ANY INFO?

I'VE LOOKED ALL OVER AND CAN'T GET ANY INFO ON THE MONTANA WAS SPEAKERS. DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY OPINIONS? ARE THEY TUBE FRIENDLY? EASY TO DRIVE? DO THEY WORK IN A NARROW ROOM AGAINST THE SHORT WALL? ANY ADVISE WOULD BE APPRECIATED!
THANK YOU!

I can't answer your question, but somethin' tells me the PBN Audio "whup-ass speaker" model was not made with set amps in mind. :)
e-mail kevin mcguire at the sound station he is very knowledgeable about montana and pbn audio. he has been selling them for years and knows as much about them probably as peter himself
Well I ain't in PN's groupe of knowledge but I did own the EPS. That speaker may have what might appear to have a friendly 91/93 value---but the impedance drops to 3.8 and sucked big-time on the 2 set amps,I owned. Further; when I went to horns I could hear how congested the mid/highs were--(compared to--)Then I got Merlin mm---Lost most of the bass---sold them; got Wilson Soph 2's happy now. Good luck in your search.---Spend enough money/be an expert!?
