Converting a passive 3-way crossover to active

I am trying to upgrade an older, internal passive 3-way crossover with an outboard, electronic active crossover. This would also include replacing the inferior internal speaker wiring. I know the original crossover points, driver impedances, slopes and effective Q. Each driver is in a separate enclosure. Any suggestions, to wiring the individual drivers to the amplifiers? Wire type? Caps? Thank you.

I assume that you know that an active crossover is inserted before the power amp and therefore you will need 3 amps per speaker.
