One bit of advice I can offer is that it's not a good idea to mix 2 different cable types to a speaker unless you've checked their specs.
Speakers need low inductance cables which contribute to their resistance, and they need to be matched (or very close). One cable to the high/mid and a different cable to the bass may be of a different type of metal, or have a stranded or solid conductor and could make the sound not coherent from the different drivers.
As far as biwire or using single cable with jumpers, there are many, many threads in the archives.
