Upgrade Path

Hi Everybody
I have recently upgraded my system and I am now looking for advice for future upgrades and recommendations.
I recently had the chance to buy B&W 800D (not Diamonds). I was using a Proceed BPA-3 to power them when the opportunity presented it self to buy a pair of Krell KRS 200 Monoblocks in excellent condition. Needless to say I jumped at the chance. Along with the monoblocks the guy also sent me his KRC-3 preamp which I did not really want. I already had a ML No. 38 in the system.
I have not yet a chance to hook up the Krell pre yet but the system sounds excellent with the ML. I suspect that the Krell might be better but really don't want to spend on it unless its a significant up grade.
My upgrade question has more to do with the rest of my equipment.
I have a Project Carbon Turntable with a Shure MX97 cartridge. Digital source is Cambridge Audio Stream Magic NP-30 and DAC is PS Audio. All cables are QED including speaker wire.
Any and all opinions would be welcome. What do you guys think should be the first most significant upgrade. I am open to all suggestions keeping in mind that I want to keep costs low. Have just spent a big amount and really should not be spending a lot more.
Thanks

Save up and buy a really good preamp. If not, you'll be upgrading forever. A good low cost solution would be to try a passive preamp. It should sound better that your ML and the Krell. Also, if any of your digital sources have a volume control, try it. Plug it directly into your amp.
The source.I suggest you consider upgrading table/arm/cartridge. Perhaps it would be worth the effort to try different/better cables as well. What is your phono stage?
