What's your latest album purchase?

Gregory Porter- Liquid Spirit on vinyl pressed in Germany.
A great contemporary singer who is both soulful, jazzy and insite-full.
Compared to the CD, the vocal is more natural, organic, the bass is deeper and richer, the horns are more brassy.
So many contemporary LPs suffer from digital sourcing. In this case, the transfer is very successful.

Brothers In Arms-Dire Straits (2 LP, 45RPM MOFI)

Screamin' For My Supper-Beth Hart (2LP, 180 gram Music On Vinyl)

Patty Griffin, American Kid (2 lp, New West records)

Mofi- Let me know how the McCartney is. I heard these were well done. The S/T LP w/ the cherries cover sold out.

Fjn04...I listened to it twice on Sunday. It is REALLY well done! The pressing is quiet and flat and the dynamics are outstanding.

I am so much enthralled with this title, that I just ordered "WIngs At The Speed Of Sound" today.
