Hello Cinci Area Gon'rs! I've been speaking with Larry Moore about another get-together for local Audiophiles. For those who don't know Larry, he is a builder of very high quality SET tube amps, USB DACs and horn based loudspeakers. For your reading please, here's a link to Larry's website: http://ultrafitimes.com/ .
We were hoping to have a get-togehter of ALL local audiophiles who may be interested in meeting some other audiophiles in the area. Since we don't have any idea how many people may show up, we thought it may be best to have a meeting in a public place to see how much interest we actually have in the local area.
Larry is going to be installing a small system in a local Coffee Shop in Loveland and has suggested it as a place for an open meeting of the local audiophile community. The shop is called Heaven's Roast and it is one of the few shops in the area that actually hand roast their product. Here is a link to their website: http://heavensroast.com/ .
So, is anyone interested in meeting some of the other audiophiles in the area? We're trying to judge interest for either a Thursday evening meeting or a weekend afternoon meeting. Possible dates are Thursday Oct. 11th or Saturday Oct. 13th. Feel free to either reply here or send me e-mail via my AudiogoN link. Also, feel free to copy/paste this post and send it to folks on your list of local audiophiles.
Hopefully we can get the larger audiophile audience together for a meet/greet and develop an on-going plan for periodic get-togethers.
Enjoy,
TIC
