Jimmy Fallon has a Mcintosh turntable

He showed it last night on his cell phone. He was playing a picture disc of Barry Manilow.

I love the part about "pretty good value" at $8k or so.  That's really comical.
Rich people buy Mac because thats what rich people buy .
Same as they buy Mercedes when there are Americans cars that are better for 1/2 the price .

I guess I don't know my way around Clearaudio TT's, but why would upwards of $8K be good value for the M10?
Because it will smoke a Technics SP10mk3 and you don't have to waste time trawling the net to replace obsolete and defective chips.

I wish I was in Honolulu right now ......never been

.......sorry for the sidetrack taters

back to Jimmy F and his TT

Oh, I thought this was a high end audio website. A 4-figure turntable ($8K including $1750 cartridge) is hardly extreme where there are 6-figure turntables. And it's not like Steve Hoffman is a high-end wannabe dupe.
