Whats playing on your system today?

Today I decided to listen to two of my favorite rock guitar heros and one great vocalist. Guitarist' Robin Trower, Ronnie Montrose and vocalist Davey Pattison.

I listened to Trower songs:
Bridge of sighs, Stitch in time, The fool and me, my personal favorite- Too rolling stoned and others.....

Then I pulled out "Gamma".
I listened to: Razor King, Wish I was and Skin and bone and others.....

Davey Pattison hooked has also up with Michael Shenker also. I really enjoyed my day so far. Anybody else heard anything good?

...an interesting tid-bit... since I ordered the above BD title, MOFI has increased the price by $10.00. So for whatever the outcome, I bought it at the lower price minus 15%, courtesy of SoundStageDirect.

This makes me feel even better.

Chris Rea "Road To Hell"

Black Crowes "The Southern Harmony & Musical Companion"

Does anyone remember what the first pressing was?

Mine is on Def American and is a UK pressing from '92.
Frank Marino - "Juggernaut". And a song from April Wine's "The whole world's goin' crazy" "So bad" featuring Frank Marino.

Iron Butterfly "Metamorphosis".

This is one of a few lps that just brings me back to my early days of listening to music. It never fails to transport me back to a better time.

Simon & Garfunkel  "Bookends". My all time favorite lp. This record still sounds SUPERB! It has all of the hallmarks of a great record. One that, upon ,each and every listen, has the same effect in, that it transports you into that specific, space, and time.

...which brings me to an appropriate ending...

Ten Years After "A Space In Time".. Need I go further???

Have a great one all.
Slaw,

I may be making this up, but I think I saw a local billboard the other day (it always lists upcoming shows at our local club) with an Iron Butterfly date.  They may be touring.  FYI.
