Haul to the curb?

I have become owner of a massive Vidikron Vision one. Luckily no one was injured in removing it from the ceiling. I need advice. Should I go through the hassle of trying to sell this outdated hunk of electronics or just edge it out to the curb and hope the recycling truck will haul if away?

I would list it on Craigslist and see what offers you get. If it doesn't sell in a month just have it scrapped.

Your answer concurs with the local Magnolia folks.
I'm a novice,so they explained it as sort of like having a 20 year old Rolls Royce, in this case attached to my ceiling.
