Whats playing on your system today?
Today I decided to listen to two of my favorite rock guitar heros and one great vocalist. Guitarist' Robin Trower, Ronnie Montrose and vocalist Davey Pattison.
I listened to Trower songs:
Bridge of sighs, Stitch in time, The fool and me, my personal favorite- Too rolling stoned and others.....
Then I pulled out "Gamma".
I listened to: Razor King, Wish I was and Skin and bone and others.....
Davey Pattison hooked has also up with Michael Shenker also. I really enjoyed my day so far. Anybody else heard anything good?

Today some old some new. I listened to this CD earlier in the thread but I played it again today because of one particular song. On CD...AC/DC, High Voltage. The song is "Soul Stripper". Even if your not an AC/DC fan this is a great song. It's worth a listen. It has such a different groove that you might not expect. It has bongos, in the beginning of the song and some tambourine. https://youtu.be/6FpeX7JqdyI Bon Scott was in my opinion was irreplaceable. And Angus it a guitar hero, IMHO. Oh, and " Can I sit next to your girl" is great also. And just for the kix, I cranked up Miranda Lambert's "Gunpowder and lead". It's a fantastic song. Also Cage the Elelphant, "Cigarette daydreams". Good recording, pretty good song. N |
