using non-hdmi home theater system with blue ray

Many need public to buy into it for sales. Lets say at 4ft it is true, how many watch true 1080p material and then sit 4ft away? Answer is pretty ckear.

My Pro isn't HDMI ready and I have a OPPO /w multi-channel, too. My HDMI video is connected directly to a 60 inch screen from the OPPO. All audio sources are connected directly to my pro. My pro has a delay dial on the front panel if voices and video don't quite synch-up together. This has worked perfect in my system, too.

A side note - I demo'd the new 60 inch Sharp Elite Pro TV last week. Very noticably, it has the best picture I've ever seen. It has a proprietory refresh rate program that betters 240. The clarity and depth was stunning.

Like you said, it's not worth the debate.

I would guess a lot more people may do this (especially with computers and video games) than the ones that watch it on a 720P, 90" projector TV like yourself. We can see 1080P on a 1080P TV. No debate here.
