No endorphins flowing here for me. I am getting images with this music, of a dark place as the year draws to a close. Not where I want to be. I am afraid to ask what the theme of the parade would have been if it had happened. I thrive on energy, and life, and am drawn to the music of the younger generation, for its energy. Now the beauty of classical music......... is it never gets old. I have been recently feeding more classical music to my son as he is home for the holidays. I sat him down in my chair and I asked him to listen to a piece for a few minutes. I then muted the system and I asked. "What is your opinion son, of this music." "Dad" he said. "This music brings back nice memories of when I was small" "Can you be more specific" I asked. ct0517, If the first song "You want it darker" of the LP doesn't thrill you something must be wrong with your playback system, maybe the tonearm? 😇 It is a good example showing the system is able to bring you into ecstasy! No? 😱 Play it loud if it is possible... Halcro, I got only the Live recordings "Songs from the road" and "Live at the Isle of Wright 1970". Thanks for the hint. I am just listening to the early MFSL LPs like Bob Seeger - Night Moves. These early productions were really good, absolutely stunning in sound and quality (1-034). |
