Cerious Technologies NEW Graphene Cables

Now, this is not a advertisement, just a posting sharing my experience on some well made great sounding cables at a very reasonable price. Besides, I don't think Cerious Technologies is set up for a big influx of cable orders.

But, if you get the chance to try these cables, please do.

I have been interested in the newer cables coming out that are using Graphene as a conductor. SR cables seemed interesting, but I always hated the way there cables had all those extra wires (with the active shields and such). I then noticed an ad early in I think November or December from Cerious Technologies for Graphene cables. I investigated how the cables were assembled and it seemed like quite a laborious process.

I ordered (with a 30 day money back guarantee) the balanced Graphene interconnects, and boy did they impress me. Such depth, soundstage, realism, frequency smoothness, effortless sound. I was truly impressed!  I now have a complete loom of the Cerious Technologies Graphene cables. That is; interconnects, speaker cables, digital cables and power cords.

I ended up selling all of my other cables and to those of you who have read my postings know that cables have always been my curiosity.

So, as I began this post, let me again iterate, I have no alliance to the company, my posting is for those of you looking for an great alternate high quality Graphene made cable without spending a fortune.

Thanks for the info. After all it is all about how our systems perform and enjoyment. Though I haven’t always done this, I do try to get a complete loom of the same cables. I believe that as a cable is made it is probably tested with the manufactures other cables.

Bob, is basically a one man band that at times can be difficult to get a hold of. And, he just got married, so he’s probably still chasing the wife around the house.

I have some very long lengths of Bob’s previous design that I use with my subwoofers. I thought that they had very good bass quality. But, they were not quite as impressive as the latest Graphene versions.

I’ve been running in a pair of the GE speaker cables and jumpers (excellent banana terminations, btw) with just over 100 hours in my system. Prior to that I purchased the GE digital cable from Bob and used it for several weeks. In my system, what impressed me most about my introduction to Bob’s latest cables is the way the digital cable preserves timing—that essential attribute that supports pace and rhythm (collectively referred to as PRAT). Ultimately, I found the bass of the digital cable to be somewhat full compared to what I’m use to… maybe it’s the way I requested the cable to be terminated (RCA to BNC).. anything’s possible.

In retrospect, I’d venture that the GE digital cable nicely balances the GE s/c. However, I believe improvements can be had, as the s/c is just superb – capable of easily revealing upstream changes (cables or otherwise). They share the same toe-tapping attribute as the digital cable (not surprisingly) but improve upon openness and seemingly eschew compression (through the s/c to my surprise). The end result of Cerious Technologies' latest seems to be exceptional fidelity to the live event, though my experience thus far is limited to Bob’s GE digital cable and the amazing speaker cable.

I happen to also value Dennis’ Chimera Labs cables and coincidentally find they do timing as well. In my case, I recently discovered Jorma digital to be a superb combination with the GE s/c, where the Jorma is just as linear as CL but deemphasizes speed just a bit (much like the GE digital). That said I wouldn't discourage anyone from trying Bob's digital cable. Bottom line, the Cerious Tech GE digital cable is more musical than many S/PDIF cables I've tried and a bargain to boot.

With many cables choices, it's seems Bob's cable are more price reasonable.They also have good reviews...

Just got a pair of GE ICs yesterday. Based on what some have posted here about the ICs, I wasn’t sure what to expect. I was hoping they’d be an improvement, but maybe not as dramatic a one as the digital cable and PCs.

I put them between my DAC and passive pre. Wow! I think they are still burning in, but they have already far surpassed the ICs they replaced (Crimson Audio). The "realness" of voices & instruments is almost scary, and I’m getting a much better sense of the air and space around them. If they get better with more break-in time, I’m going to be one happy camper.

Wait till you complete the loom with the Cerious Speaker cables....There will be an even bigger WOW!
