What ever happened to Krell ?

I have a Krell Chorus 5 channel amp that I think is awesome. I'm a die hard audiophile and find that it measures up. It gets criticized for the fans which I personally am a big proponent of because it allows more installation options and they are whisper quiet. You won't think corners have been cut once you open the box. Just my opinion of course. 

So how do you think that would compare to the older Theater Amp Standard?

i would think it smoother and more musical but i've not heard older krell multi channel amps. herndonb has very interesting comments.
 i have a foundation as well and i can tell you it doesn't look cheap and is absolutely great sounding. my 2 cents

Anybody bother to read my post?  My Vanguard has followed many of the Danny Era designs and I would not go back.  Also, there is always far more to a story than the Gossip Queens would have you believe!
