@bdp24 - I wasn't quite sure what to expect from Self Portrait. I received it as a gift from my wife in a small lot of records she bought at an auction. I wasn't familiar with it and did a Google Search before listening to it. Interesting read about the album on Wiki. I did enjoy it on first listen. Enough that I'll give it another spin soon.

Bob Dylan w/The Band - "Planet Waves"

Oh man, I love Planet Waves, one of my favorite Dylans. Live in the studio, with very little electronic effects (reverb in particular---the recording is very "dry"). After the album was done in early '74, they hit road for a two-month tour, their first together since '66 (The Band at the time known as The Hawks).

@bdp24 - Perfect Waves was very good, really fantastic. I've always liked the slow version of "Forever Young" and every other cut on the album was also enjoyable. This record will go into my regular rotation.....

Lee Moses - "Time and Place" - Wow, fantastic funk/soul/R&B record from 1971. Heard it playing in my LRS today when I stopped in to check the newly stocked used record bins. Unfortunately clean originals are hundreds of dollars, but it's been recently reissued. I bought the reissue......

Elvis Costello and the Attractions - "Imperial Bedroom" - In prep for seeing the Elvis Costello and the Attractions "Imperial Bedroom and Other Chambers" tour in July.
