For me its the first or very early LP's of: Allman Brothers - "Allman Joys" "Idyllwild South" Santana - "Santana" 200 g reissue Emerson Lake and Palmer - "Emerson Lake and Palmer" and, Beethoven - "Piano Concerto No. 4 in G Major" Rudolph Serkin/Ozawa/BSO
Fantastic Nick Lowe song, reubent. He has a bunch of 'em! Los Straitjackets have a new album entitled What's So Funny About Peace, Love, and Los Straitjackets. The entire album is they performing Nick Lowe songs. LS have been serving as Nick's touring band for a few years now.
@bdp24 - I love Nick Lowe and I've always like the whole "The Rose of England" album. I just saw Nick Lowe a few months ago, but it was a solo show. Really fantastic. Would love to see him backed by Los Straight Jackets. BTW, I just missed Loss Straight Jackets as the backing band for Marshall Crenshaw at a local show last week :~(
