Looks like a new Magnepan speaker is coming!!!

How many audiophiles have a room large enough to optimally set these up?

ZERO WAF. No one is going to get those giant things in the living room past their wife.

I’m getting a set in all-black.

To Audioman58,  anyone in the Phoenix Az. metro area do these mods that ur aware of?

Mofimadness, several people asked whether the panels would be separately so I asked Magnepan and they told me that for several reasons it wasn't practical. Also, according to TAS, they use 6 dB/octave crossovers and don't have a separate crossover box.

Ah, well, back to scratching off lottery tickets . . .

Ah, $29K; they are moving toward Vandersteen territory, breaking out of the pure value play. They may, and I say that cautiously as there is no certainty as to the innards, be finally building a true extreme speaker.
