OK, so here is a thread I haven't ever seen here: What speakers have you owned? starting with the earliest, price paid, new/used, and perhaps the models that really impressed you (for the price) in CAPS.

Here is my progression starting with my first pair...

1. KLH Model 38
2. Avid 102
3. ADS L520 - Still have them in a secondary system and they are in pristine condition. Love 'em!
4. Wharfedale Diamond 9.6
5. Vienna Acoustics Bach Grands - currently the mains in my primary system and I love these too.

Talon khorus II with upgrade crossover and modified tweeter...they just diseaper and live place to Music with"Audax"tweeter .

82 or so… round panasonic speakers, c. 1975 with one driver that my father gave me

91 a cerwin vega sub which lasted until the cone wore out
