Are tuners still popular

Tuners

I’ve been helping a friend run a small, low powered station here in town. We hosted dance parties to raise the money we needed to get started.. I know of at least 5 people who have purchased tuners to listen. So yeah, there’s still life in radio, especially since the FCC opened up the spectrum to low powered, local stations. Much more relatable, no commercials, our community is loving it
If you own a tuner and derive enjoyment from it, who cares whether tuners are "popular"?  I have a Luxman T110, which was once highly touted and now seems to be worth about 75 bucks.  I probably should use it more than I do.
Internet streaming tuners have relegated my analog tuner to my basement storage to keep my cassette deck company.
