High Fidelity MC-6 Power Distributor vs. Synergistic Research V8 Powerblock?

Does anyone have experience with either one, or both, of these?

I don't own either piece but I do have a CPT 1800 and as great as it's been my system really went up in performance when I added several of the HF mc-0.5's. Not saying what you should do, but if you like what the one mc-0.5 is doing at the outlet where your CPT 300 is at and want more of that sound then maybe just getting more mc-0.5's is the way to go. To me they have been the most amazing addition to my home stereo than anything I can remember. Just my two cents.
tommylion,

I agree with t_ramey,
I now have 16 of the MC-05's on my 3 dedicated lines and I am using a CPT 1800 and a 300.

As I understand it, the High Fidelity MC-6 Hemisphere uses magnetic conduction to get increased clarity, musicality, reduced noise and edginess, better dynamics, etc.   Or, in other words, it uses magnetic fields to conduct electrons that improve the sound quality.   Does this really work?   I have the same question for their much lower cost High Fidelity MC-6 Power Distributor model.

Is the much higher priced High Fidelity MC-6 Hemisphere worth 2+ times the price of the High Fidelity MC-6 Power Distributor model?

To be honest, I do not fully understand how the use of magnetic conduction to improve sound quality.  Has anyone owned either of these models, or have any experience and opinions on it?   Thanks.

Their  products work great. I use a lot of them. The MC 6 Hemisphere replaced my PS audio P10. Gave up surge and spike protection, but the sound was just much better across the board. I liked it so much that i moved up to the Big Pro Power conditioner and use the MC 6 Hemisphere like a power strip with MC 05s plugged into it.
I believe High Fidelity offers a 30 day money back return policy. The Helix and Hemisphere level do take longer to break end than the straight  MC 05s . Yes there is a sound improvement between the Hemisphere MC 6 and just the MC 6. The same would be going from the MC 05 to the MC 05 signature. Yes more money but better sound.
