In VIP search mode.

I have a nice VPI HW-19 JR that I'm building-up and in need of an upgraded platter (Mk3, 4, or better) and have been unable to find a good condition one coming available in quite a while. Maybe someone has something kicking about that they're willing to part with..??

I'm building my own upgraded plinth with 1" Acrylic and steel backing and mounting a JMW 10.5i Classic 3 arm w/ Ortofon MC25FL cart.

Any help on finding a good platter?

So I found a MK3 platter and will be making a new plinth. 
The question I have is; I currently have a Audioquest PT-9 Extreme tone arm and also have a new JMW 10.5i Classic 3 but not sure if I should keep add the new JMW or just stay with the AQ?
Would there be enough of a gain to warrant the cost of that tone arm on an HW19 MK3?

I have a hw 19 with a jelco 750d and an aries with the jmw arm. IMHO it would be worth the trouble to put the JMW on your table.

The Jelico/AQ arm requires drilling a hole in the plinth where the JMW base is just screwed down so I’ll need to make a decision when I make the new plinth.
