Marantz versus Denon

I am looking to purchase a new receiver with more digital inputs and have narrowed it down to the Marantz 7001 or 8001 versus the Denon 4306. Any recommendations?

As does the Onkyo 805 which may the best of three from early reports, and a lot less expensive than the Marantz. I looked at Arcam but passed on it due to a number of people describing it has having the dry English sound. Something I would rather avoid.
