One thing to remember about subs and integration... The natural roll-off of ported speakers is 24 db/octave and sealed speakers is 6 db/octave.

Just saying Jim's designs, in the bass region, did not roll off at 6 db/octave due to being a passive radiator design.

upon listening to the CS 2.4 and CS 2.4SE models, I did not hear any Bass roll off. In fact, the Bass presentation to my ears was full, articulate
and pleasing. This occurred wether or not I was listening at low levels or much louder levels. Made me a believer and owner.
