OK, tommylion, I get your point. But I would not "try it" because it seems to be advertised to fix a problem I do not have, has a ridiculous price tag and reminds me of green magic marker on the edge of CDs and wooden blocks to elevate cables.
Since you used the word, I could, but will not, opine that those who get sucked it to this kind of voodoo magic are ignorant.
Additionally, having a different opinion on this subject is not stirring the pot...it is called
>>>>>Whoa! Hey, back this thing up. Beep, beep! So now all tweaks are snake oil. Let’s take things one at a time, shall we? The Green Pen is an effective tweak and well worth doing. Plus it doesn’t cost anything. So you can’t use the go to pseudo skeptic argument that it’s too expensive. I actually just used the Green Pen tweak over the weekend. You know, just to see if it still worked after all these years. Green marker on the outer edge of the CD and Black marker on the inner edge. Old school as it gets and almost scientific. 😬 More air, more dynamics and more detail. More analog than analog. In short, a no brainer. 🧠 Plus naysayers can’t think of a scientific reason why it can’t work so I win. Tee hee
An audiophile thing doesn’t have to be hi tech, it can be lo tech. It can even be cheap. The whole issue is really one of efficacy. A thing that’s technically more advanced than chunky peanut butter is indistinguishable from voodoo. - Audio insider
