My Quicksilver preamp inverts polarity

Somebody hasn’t been paying attention. I won’t mention any names. Even if you switch the cables at the amp or the speakers you’re still in the same boat you were before. You will still be in inverse Polarity at least half the time. So what’s the diff?

Switch interconnects? You can reverse the left and right channels thusly, but not the polarity.

Okay, switching channels vs. switching polarity, mark me as dumb, but why do I "hear" the same affect, or do I?

Actually I agree with you. I am fairly sure channelization has to be consistent throughout the system. Otherwise Sonics suffer. Polarity is a somewhat different animal since for cables it involves switching the + and - of channels, not the channels themselves. I would say they’re separate issues.
