Actually I agree with you. I am fairly sure channelization has to be consistent throughout the system. Otherwise Sonics suffer. Polarity is a somewhat different animal since for cables it involves switching the + and - of channels, not the channels themselves. I would say they’re separate issues.
Fair point. I’ll make the changes at the speakers when I get home and see/hear what I’ve been missing all this time. Not holding my breathe for a jaw dropping experience but hey you never know....😁
my problem in my preamp inverts polarity but my speaker cables negative leg is designed to be hooked to negative and positive is designed for positive hookup.
If you listen to CDs you’re in luck, as I pointed out several times. 😀 having said that you might try reversing the cables and see if that’s better or worse.
