For me its the first or very early LP's of:
Allman Brothers - "Allman Joys" "Idyllwild South"
Santana - "Santana" 200 g reissue
Emerson Lake and Palmer - "Emerson Lake and Palmer"
and,
Beethoven - "Piano Concerto No. 4 in G Major" Rudolph Serkin/Ozawa/BSO

@slaw - Sad to say, but I do not own a single Tom Petty record. I like TP a lot, just never got on the bandwagon. Where should I start if I don't want to spend $200 for the box set? Or should I just put the box set on my Christmas list?
@reubent.

I know this admission was painful. But, honesty trumps everything, IMO.

You’ve heard of "night and day" comparisons? Well, this is one of them.

Have an early Christmas dude! Wait for the 25% @ SSD.

(you recently posted that you own the Counting Crows LP/45rpm/ August & Everything After.
A $50 + lp

$50 for (one) lp. With the TP box, you get multiple lps, that are over and above the originals in terms of SQ.

You’ll thank me later.

Cheers!
