Golden Ear or Elac?

Buckner was an embarrassment that day and should not have been playing.  Clemens over pitched too many fastballs and Calvin Shiraldi was too inexperienced  to be the closer in such an BIG game.  I didn't sleep for a week after that and didn't follow the Sox for 10 years as punishment.  All is forgiven now.  You are right, I should lighten up.

OK see that was better. Believe me, I was sweating watching that game and it could have ended completely differently if it weren't for that one crucial mistake. 

Listen I wasn’t trying to disparage either speaker mentioned by the original poster. The comment was really tongue in cheek for the most part. Both brands are fine from the models I’ve listened to but not enough for me to purchase either. I owned Vandy 2ci’s a few years ago. Great speakers, I didn’t want to part with them but found something else that better suited my ears. I recently acquired ProAc DT-8’s and enjoy them more than most of the speakers I’ve owned over the years and I listen to pretty much every genre of music except rap. They play Pink Floyd and Liszt with equal enthusiasm but I get it ProAc’s aren’t everyone’s cup of tea and that’s OK !! Well, fella ’s I hope we are all still friends.
