@slaw you asked about the MSFL One Step 45RPM pressings. I have several, they're certainly very nicely presented and exemplary pressings. In addition being double sided discs they do not suffer from the endemic dish warp that afflicted the Classic Records one sided 45RPM issues. I'm actually looking forward to comparing the Classic 45 Bridge Over Troubled Water with the new MSFL, should be interesting -- just need to sort out a hum in my phono stage
The "gold standard" for expensive new pressings is of course The Electric Recording Company. However bear in mind that the comps for these are the originals which are usually $1,000+
