Whats on your turntable tonight?

For me its the first or very early LP's of:
Allman Brothers - "Allman Joys" "Idyllwild South"
Santana - "Santana" 200 g reissue
Emerson Lake and Palmer - "Emerson Lake and Palmer"
and,
Beethoven - "Piano Concerto No. 4 in G Major" Rudolph Serkin/Ozawa/BSO
slipknot1
Grand Funk "We’re an American Band"

BTW< I heard on my local radio that Grand Funk sold out more tickets at THE same venue than The Beatles at Shea Stadium... this made me feel very good...that there was a time they got their due!

Of coarse there were completely different audiences. The Beatles drew young girls who couldn’t even hold their bladders. GF drew the hippies who were glad to have the freedom of expression presented in the music.
Glen Hansard "Drive All Night" 45rpm

The GREAT Glen Hansard. Seek out all of his output.
Here is a darn good not very well known record...

King's Daughters & Sons  "If Then Not When"

You'll not see this anywhere else...….
..not the usual for me..
...but ....Beatles...."Penny lane"..
.....I really like the horn arrangement..and the bell on the fire engine is pretty cool.!
