Whats on your turntable tonight?

For me its the first or very early LP's of:
Allman Brothers - "Allman Joys" "Idyllwild South"
Santana - "Santana" 200 g reissue
Emerson Lake and Palmer - "Emerson Lake and Palmer"
and,
Beethoven - "Piano Concerto No. 4 in G Major" Rudolph Serkin/Ozawa/BSO
slipknot1
Jack Johnson - "In Between Dreams" - Brand new, from my LSR today.

So, I like Jack Johnson. He's just so chill.... My 15 year old son also likes him, so I've invested in new copies of both "In Between Dreams" and "Brushfire Fantasies" on vinyl. I like both these albums very much. However, unusually, I don't find the new vinyl LPs of these two albums to sound any better than the CDs I already owned. I'm a big fan of vinyl and I typically think vinyl typically sounds better. But in these two instances, I don't hear any difference. And my new copy of "In Between Dreams" is noisy. I'll clean it again to insure I didn't inadvertently deposit some crud on it. But I'm not impressed at the moment.
CocoRosie - "God Has a Voice, She Speaks Through Me"
Zoot Woman - "Gem"
William Orbit - Montauk Point (Edit 1)
John Kay - "Bold Marauder"
Kendra Smith - "Bold Marauder"
Richard & Mimi Fariña - "Bold Marauder"
Yello feat. Till Brönner - "Till Tomorrow"
Slim - Slim 0097 (album entire)
@reubent,

Interesting!

I’ve hailed "In Between Dreams" as a Sleeper for years. You mentioned "Brushfire Fantasies". It should be "Brushfire Fairytales"
