Which upgraded fuse is recommended for an Onkyo and Elac setup?

I have acquired a mid grade hi fi system that I am going to put in my office. Its an Onkyo avr priced under $1000 ( purchased sometime in the last year by my brother) with some Elac bookshelf speakers priced around $500.  Not sure of the model numbers.

In general...which fuse upgrade is recommended?  Trying to squeeze all I can out of this mid fi system. Thanks.

Be aware that with a title like this, we may eventually get people are are so negative on fuses that this thread turns into a flame war.  That being said, it is difficult to answer your question.  In general, I think the Furutech rhodium fuses are the absolute best to put into an analog device.  However, I have seen instances where Hi-Fi Tuning Supreme works better.  You can try Furutech first if you want.  The sound is almost always very good and smooth, however sometimes the Furutech can sound too slow.  In that case, the Hi-Fi Tuning Supreme will sound better with more resolution and attack.  Lastly, I recommend Isoclean fuses if the equipment is too bright/harsh because the gold-plated end caps and wire on the Isoclean will warm things up.
Agreed. Just looking for a general direction for that specific electronic choice that I have to work with.

Thx
It would be a wonderful world if changing a piece of wire improved sound quality. Alas ...
