RIP Mark Hollis of Talk Talk

RIP Mark Hollis of Talk Talk at 64.
I bought The Color of Spring when it came out after it garnered top reviews. Analog recording, it sounds awesome with excellent song writing. I used play it up real loud on huge PA speakers and successfully charmed a girl I fancied while we danced to it. Fond affections. Off now to spin the 12" remix.

That is way too soon.  I had read a rumor he was working on something new.  I just played Colour of Spring from a remastered set the other day.  Still sounds great.  I always thought they'd be able to do one more in the Spirit of Eden style.

His artistry had a rare delicacy that was really touching. I am just very sorry to hear that he’s no longer with us. Love Color of Spring and Spirit of Eden. They will always be here.

Life's What You Make It still gives me chills.

Put on the SACD version of Spirit of Eden in the dark. Listen to the album front to back... if possible with a good D/A converter. 

True genius. Gone too soon. RIP genius. :-(
