Thiel 1.5 vs. 1.6, any experience?


I have owned much of the very best in audio, CJ ART etc., but am in a financial rebuilding phase and starting a modest system.

I owned the Thiel 1.5 at one time and enjoyed them. I am thinking of them for this new small system but would like to learn of any experience you have with them vs. the 1.6 (which I have never heard).

As above, if any of you guys run a cross a pair of CS 1.6 or 1.7, grab immediately!  Happy Listening!

I owned the 1.5 and 1.6 at the same time for more that 10 years, turntable with ARC sp-6c and D90 all tube setup, the 1.6 is overall a better speaker than the 1.5, I sold the 1.5 after I got the 2.4 three years ago and still keeping the 1.6
