North Carolina Audio Club

Let's start a NC Audio Club. Any comments? Any suggestions about how to promote our interest and perhaps hear other folks systems, or benefit from their experiences?

Just got back from the Capital Audiofest show a few days ago. It was worth the effort getting there.

If you don’t mind driving here again I would very much enjoy having a group here for music and refreshments. We should plan for a gathering after Thanksgiving. Thoughts?

@slaw : Sorry to just now be responding. I think the '@' function did not work.

Is this the Carolina Audio Society? I see they have an event in Charlotte on Saturday the 30th. Unfortunately I will be in Charleston that weekend. Would like to attend a meeting if I am in town.
Hey @n80,

I'm afraid not. Upon reading through these post, you should get a sense of out short history. You're in Fort Mill, @analysis  is in south Charlotte, I'm in Greensboro. Serious people should be able to make this work?
My wife and I live in the DC/Baltimore area and last November were blessed with the arrival of our first grandchild, who lives in Asheville.  We've been scoping out the Asheville/Hendersonville area as a possible area to purchase that "retirement home", and one of the "gotta haves" with that home purchase is a "bonus room" for my man cave.

I don't see any clubs or audio dealers for that matter in Western NC.  Anyone know of either out in the Blue Ridge Mountains?
