Whats on your turntable tonight?

For me its the first or very early LP's of:
Allman Brothers - "Allman Joys" "Idyllwild South"
Santana - "Santana" 200 g reissue
Emerson Lake and Palmer - "Emerson Lake and Palmer"
and,
Beethoven - "Piano Concerto No. 4 in G Major" Rudolph Serkin/Ozawa/BSO
slipknot1
The Traffic box is actually a (slip-case) style. I like that much better. I think you all can read into my excitement for this set.
After playing side 1 of Traffic "S/T", I’m impressed. Having said that my only other copy is the Simply Vinyl that I haven’t heard in years. I never tried to search out OP Traffic lps because, as you all know, they are expensive. That’s the reason this box appealed to me, especially when I’ve had other/many positive experiences with Abbey Road 1/2 speed re-masters. It was a no-brainer for me. This one, so far sounds present an pretty natural without being hyped up or exaggerated. We’ll see......

The fact that, with this lp...the vinyl was perfectly flat, quiet and it just has that quality feel, really helps.
.
Up next.... "Heavy Traffic" w/ the addition of another band mate ...Chris Wood...………..
