Does Douglas’ Yamaha do that? Maybe you could check it against that Sansui. You never know, you may be surprised.

Also, unless something has changed recently, Elizabeth has Ford, not Porsche.

I guess for some folks, price is the only measurement of audio equipment that should be taken seriously.

I don't think "liking" or monetary status has much to do with it. 

There is an addiction and disproportionate % or income and / or time spent on it.  It is developing a disdain for things that most others would like.  I think also refusing to listen to less.  

The term audiophile belongs to everyone sorry to dissappoint the ones recently who think not

Bingo. It belongs even to those who paid a lots of money for their systems. They may not be called fools anymore. They are audiophiles.
