Anyone have experience with Vincent hybrid gear and electrostatics?

Can’t audition my only real concern is the low impedance of the ML of 1 ohm and below can’t seem to find that stat on the spt 700

My thoughts are probably not. They are only specced down to 4 ohm.
Manual also states "if a second set of Speakers connected, both have a nominal impedence of at least 8 ohm!

What country are you in? The Vincent SP-998's would do that without breaking a sweat, and should sound great with ML's. To my knowledge there not available in the States.

Just did a search and see you are in Arizona? Unfortunately looks like it counts out the SP-998's. Good luck in your search.

I did find in SP-T700 manual. "Only use loudspeakers with a nominal impedence of at least 4 ohm."

I did some calling around and the sp t700 are available in the us just a matter of time . The 4 ohm state refers to the overall impedance of the speaker ie. 4 8 or 16 ohm resistance. The 700's will be able to meet the requirements of the ML's as the final stage is solid state the valves are only on the input stage of the amp. so good news is they will work just fine.
