Thiel Owners

Guys-

I just scored a sweet pair of CS 2.4SE loudspeakers. Anyone else currently or previously owned this model?
Owners of the CS 2.4 or CS 2.7 are free to chime in as well. Thiel are excellent w/ both tubed or solid-state gear!

As your time allows, search CS5 and CS 7.2 loudspeakers, over on Audio Asylum for additional information. Quite a few Thiel Audio fans on that site as well.  Happy Listening!

i am powering CS5’s with Bryston 7b monoblocks. Positively no lack of bass.
my room is not boomy.
start investigating, Tom goes right to driver testing. I would then go to placement, Tom might go to crossovers.
if you are near NJ and want a baseline to compare, come on over.

Esprit - have the 5s and 7.2s been tried in the same position in the same room with the same driving source?

@bighempin - was glad to see that you finally have your 3.7’s. As you may know I gave up on the pair of 3.7s that "might" come back to ATL and presently have Magnapan 20.7s that I’m extremely pleased with. I’m presently continuing to use the my 2.4’s, two pairs of power point 1.2’s and a pair of powerplanes in a video system with a 4K JVC projector. Enjoy your new speakers!
