To Fuse or Not to Fuse... That is the question!

Ok.. I think I understand that no fuse is better than a cheap fuse. And a good fuse is better than a cheap fuse. But is no fuse better than the best fuse?

One person on Audiogon said that he achieved better sound by using a Blue fuse over no fuse. I guess my question is... Do these new, high dollar fuses just allow the current to flow better with solid protection or do they actually due to quantum physics or something, actually improve upon the signal by eliminating errant bad electrons and thereby actually improving the music over no fuse at all?

I gots to know!

You don’t have to be the fastest sheep on the farm. You just have to be faster than the Wolf.  🐑 🐑 🐑 🏃🏻‍♂️
If by "tuning" you mean helping a component reach a sound you prefer by applying additional tweaks, a fuse wouldn’t do this as fuses have no impact on performance if applied properly...rated properly, cleaned...that’s about it. Improvement due to fuse performance is imagined and clearly driven by expectation bias since you might have paid 150 bucks and man...you really want that thing to work as advertised, and you want to see the agreement of other Magic Fuse proponents so you feel better. And hey...maybe you will feel better! Placebos often help people.

amen!!!
soo true and twice true in the classic car and race car industry. if its cost me more it must have resulted in a better result.
most physical things have a celing of dimesering returns.
proven by the govt spending multimillions and finding out a hammer is just a hammer.

some of us have observed electrons doing their thing in particle accelerators like the brookhaven national light synchatrom light source by counting them and their brother protons and neturons.
its not quantom as you think.  we can indeed account for every single electron and its charge hence its work performed on its elemental counterpart.   dont mess with physist.   spelling i know
