Perfectly stated, and parallels my experience exactly. I’m finding that the natural sound of bass notes are much improved. Stand-up bass is very tuneful, much like one would experience in a live jazz performance. Also, bass drums have that natural tone too. On percussion instruments of all types, ie., bongos, congas, piano, vibes ... they all have taken on a realism that still has me shaking my head. And by the way, the PPT "Stop Its" go even further in that regard, especially in coordination with The Gate. When you get to the new place, you should try them out.
