Please help with the cable burner

I bought this cable burner, plugged into the power and it run but do not know how to attach the cables into and how long it takes for burning.

Could you please share your comments about how to use it. I, of course, am responsible for the usage myself.

Thank you very much.

#1, it looks like it is for speaker cables. #2, it looks very much homemade, and not to a high standard. I'd be scared sh!tless using it.

Nonetheless, I *think* this is how to use it: Connect one leg of your speaker cable between the white and red terminals and the other leg between the yellow and black terminals. Use the potentiometer labeled "Amps" to dial in how much current is passed thru the cables. Too much current could easily cause a house fire, I'd do this in my backyard away from any flammable materials....

Good luck!

I agree with the above two posts.
If you take a look at this site and pictures you might get a better idea how to use it. Personally, I would be very cautious!

I wouldn't be using this if it was me. It almost looks like a DIY amplifier that didn't turn out right.

Also, I've been told by quite a few cable manufacturers that you shouldn't use a cable burner to burn in cable. They recommend good ol' music.

I have a separate little system in a corner in my spare bedroom that is for only burning in cable. You can find pretty nice stuff on Craigslist for less than what some of these cable cookers cost.
