Buying from China

What do you think the impact will be in buying gear from China in the near future. Will the parts supply chain be depleted. Will part s other then those specify be substituted.? Will wait times for electrics will be extended. I can get pretty paranoid about it. Interested in the options of those with better insights. Should I wait awhile until things settle down befor I place my next order? I imagine things are going to be tough for the small hi end audio manufacturer.

If you are pulled over on the interstate and the cops find ten thousand dollars cash in your car, there's a very very good chance they will "suspect" that your money is the proceeds of drug dealing or money laundering or whatever lame reason they can conjure up. And they will take that money as well as your car. Even if you had just come from the bank after taking that money from your account in order to buy a motorcycle from a seller who insisted on cash, you will be victimized by the state and it will take you perhaps several years to prove your innocence. I didn't vote for that. This kind of thing never used to happen until the fear and hate of Bush's global war on terror came along, and with it, the militarization of local cops and sheriff departments. The above scenario does not have a hint of "due process" anywhere in it.
oregonpapa Frank last evening quoted Ayn Rand and espoused his rabid hate and fear for socialism; that made me think about his statement that he started working at age 14 in 1953, which would make him over 80 years old now. I wonder how Frank feels about getting a socialist check in his bank account each month for the past fifteen years and how he would compensate for it were it not forthcoming each month.
I try to only buy U.S , Canadian , or European. Anything under $100 will be hard to find other than Commie land.
That’s without taking into consideration, climate change, Hong Kong, plastic recycling, and overpopulation just to name a few off
the top of my head.
