Speaker recommendations 10 to 30k and no beryllium

Looking to upgrade from paradigm sigs8v2. Willing to buy new or used. My room is 12x16x8 ft. Looking for floor standers. Trying to get away from beryllium in case of kids accidentally damage them.

jtgofish Details Discussions Posts This discussion Message User 513 posts 03-03-2020 at 10:07pm Copy Comment URL Report Comment Edit Delete I have provided my thoughts about them in the Yamaha NS5000 thread.Wonderful sounding things with the real bonus that they are an easy speaker to drive so that opens up the opportunity to drive them with purist moderately powered tube or class A SS amplifiers.Whereas many of the alternatives llike Focal,Magico,Wilson,B&W etc dip down to between 2-3 ohms so are ridiculously amplifier hostile. .
