Anyone connected Muse 11 directly to Amps

I AM LOOKING INTO A HI END DVD -A/SACD PLAYERAND FOUND MUSE OFFERS ONE THAT YOU CAN CONNECT DIRECTLY TO THE AMP.I WAS WONDERING ABOUT THE SOUND AND I TAKE IT THAT IT WOULD ELIMINATE USING A PROCESSOR.I ALSO SEE THAT MSB OFFERS A UNIT LIKE THIS TOO.IS THIS THE WAVE OF THE FUTURE.
DO THESE UNITS ADDRESS BASS MANAGEMENT AND DO YOU STILL NEED SOME SORT OF AUDIO PROCESSOR.

I am running a Muse 10 directly into my amp(s). Getting the right IC is important. You need to take the time to find which one is the best match. I have compared this to 3 preamps ranging in price from $2000 - 4500. The CJ Premier 17II gives me more detail and soundstage, but not enought to want to go the added expense of preamp, power cord and extra IC, especially with just one source. The others detracted. The analogue attenuator module that Muse installs is clean, natural and does not take anything from the music. The Muse 10 puts out 12volts, so dynamic range is not an issue. So, yes it is a very good option. With a 1 meter run of Audience 24 IC the sound is analogue.
I've been using a Model 11 as a digital playback and line stage for my stereo system. To do this this using other inputs such as phono stage or tuner, you must have the input module and attenuator module installed by Muse -- it can be done at time of purchase or afterward and allows the use of two other sources in addtion to the Muse CD/SACD/DVD-A playback.
The results are quite satisfying. This set-up is more transparent & dynamic than any I've used -- superior in every regard to some very pricey digital/linestage combos I've owned/auditioned in my system.
The Model 11 sounds very natural yet detailed & dynamic with all the line stages I tried, and more so feeding my power amp directly.
I can't address the bass management issue, since I'm 2-channel only.
Good luck & happy hi-fi!
I have recently become interested in the MUSE 11 and am wondering if either of you can comment specifically on its redbook and SACD performance? Any comparisons you can make to other players would be helpful as well. Your comments have already been illuminating -- I did not realize the 11 could drive an amp directly or be used as a line stage. Thanks.
The lack of play on this thread can only mean that those who own the Muse 11 are too busy listening to music to respond :)
