Art Dudley passed away. Rest in Peace

Sad news

Stereophile Magazine reported today that Art Dudley passed away.

" The hi-fi world has lost a giant, and we at Stereophile have lost a brother.

Art Dudley passed peacefully this morning around 4am after a short illness. The cause was metastatic cancer."

Sad to hear. One of the originals from way back.  I always enjoyed reading his articles and reviews. I thought about it and didn’t realize i followed his reviews for so long. He help inspire me to take vintage gear serious.

If I’m not mistaken Art Dudley went so far as to include an attempt at the photos in the freezer tweak, was it by Fremer? in his review of a couple PWB (Peter Belt) products 5 years ago or so and for that alone he deserves some kind of medal, you know, what with all the potential for angry emails and subscription cancellations.
