What CD cleaner to use?

just wondering what people use to clean their CDs (if anything)? i've been reading online about how reviewers always use various anti-static sprays and cleaners on CDs before they listen to them, and how they make a lot of difference to the sound quality. does buying a $50 spray make that much of a difference compared to just cleaning off a CD with an optical lens cleaner?

any opinions?

Best I ever used was Intron Protect from Nanotec Systems out of Japan. Unfortunately haven't been able to find any more. CDs that would not play after a few skirts played without any issues.
I've tried most of them, including the expensive ones. Here's what I've found to be best ... the eyeglass lens cleaner sold by Walmart. Under three-bucks per spray bottle.

The late Tim Mrock of Perfect Path Technologies turned me on to it.
