What footers for Dunlavy V's

Just got a pair of Dunlavy V's and was wondering what footers you guys are using instead of the platform- thanks

Hi thks would you suggest the Mk3 or the mk4's- also are they strong enough to hold the weight of the V's= I assume they are since you are rec. them- thks again
Isoacoustics Gaia footers matched to weight of speaker.  Carpet spikes needed if placed on carpet.
I think the solidity of your flooring might be key in determining the best suitability.
Sold a set of Dunlavy 6's to a client some years back. First thing we did was put a floor jack under each speaker which was in an unfinished area directly under his mammoth speakers. We installed Audiopoints under the platforms still attached. Today I would set each speaker on new larger points of the same brand or consider the Sistrum platforms.  I would also remove the crossover and replace all the sand cast resistors with non inductive wire wounds.. If you have a fat wallet Vishay nude metal film resistors built as a bridge make a huge difference..While you have the crossover out replace all the ferrous screws and fasteners with brass. Nice difference and cheap to do.
In fact replace all the steel fasteners with brass that hold the speakers in place. There is much more you can do with these speakers some easy some difficult. That's all for now.
